Crystal Chandelier, USC

The chandelier in the Hancock House museum at USC was missing about 20% of it’s crystal. Under KC Restoration, I made a silicone mold and created the missing parts using a clear resin. The missing pieces were installed and additional crystals purchased to fill the chandelier.

Before: Chandelier missing prominent pieces.
Real Crystal leaf piece, in front; the rest are clear resin.

After: Cast pieces installed with additional crystals
Finished product. Fake resin shell near ladder.
